Researcher working in the areas of 3D vision and geometric deep learning.
Currently, I’m working with Dr Charu Sharma at Machine Learning Lab, IIIT Hyderabad. Previously, I was fortunate to be advised by Prof Madhava Krishna as an MS by Research student at Robotics Research Center. I did my Bachelor’s degree at Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani (BITS Pilani).
I find my creative expression through playing Tennis or writing poetry, or dreaming while lost in a SciFi novel —- articulated as “art, sport, music and a good life” at Instagram.

Experience
Graduate Teaching Associate, Mobile Robotics
[July 2020 - Dec 2020]
Teaching Associate (Head Teaching Assistant) for the course “Mobile Robotics”, under Prof Madhava Krishna. I have designed the assignments and have taught most of Computer Vision and GraphSLAM parts of the course as the Teaching Associate. My students gave me “Best TA of the galaxy” award, unofficially though :).
Co-founder and SLAM Lead, Sally Robotics
[June 2018 - May 2019]
- Sally Robotics is an ‘Indian Autonomous Vehicles’ research group by robotics researchers at the Centre for Robotics & Intelligent Systems, BITS Pilani and spearheaded by Prof Bijay Kumar Rout. The research group aims to develop a truly autonomous car for the challenging Indian Roads. I was associated with the development of the AI-assisted Navigation subsystem to achieve complete spatial cognition for the Autonomous Vehicle.
- Trained 15 students, raised 15,000 USD and achieved level-2 autonomy (lane-keeping and adaptive cruise control) on a Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 AGS.
